Sedum ‘Little Missy’ is a low-growing, trailing succulent with delicate green leaves edged in creamy white. Its fine-textured stems create a soft mat and can spill over a container’s edge, adding a miniature garden feel to a bright windowsill or sheltered patio.

Points of interest

  • Tiny variegated leaves offer a bright contrast to larger-leaved succulents.
  • A spreading, trailing habit suits containers and well-drained ground-cover plantings.
  • Compact growth and delicate texture make it a charming accent in a small-space garden.

What you’ll receive and mature size

One live Sedum ‘Little Missy’ in a 4-inch nursery pot. Plant density, stem length, and color vary naturally. Mature plants generally stay about 2–4 inches tall and may spread 12–18 inches in suitable conditions. Decorative terracotta pots and styling props are not included.

Care guide

  • Light: Provide bright light with gentle direct sun or partial sun. Acclimate gradually to stronger sunlight and protect delicate foliage from intense afternoon heat. Indoors, choose a bright window.
  • Water: Water thoroughly, then allow the mix to dry between waterings. Its fine roots and small leaves can dry quickly in hot weather, so check the soil rather than relying on a fixed schedule. Avoid prolonged soggy conditions or water left in a saucer.
  • Soil: Use a fast-draining succulent mix and a container with drainage holes. Outdoor ground-cover plantings need excellent drainage.
  • Temperature and humidity: Ordinary indoor humidity is suitable. Provide airflow and protect potted plants from hard frost, extreme heat, and prolonged cold, wet weather.
  • Feeding: Feed lightly with diluted succulent fertilizer during active growth. Heavy feeding is unnecessary.
  • Pruning: Trim long or sparse stems to encourage fuller growth. Remove dry foliage and any fully green shoots if you want to maintain the variegated appearance.
  • Repotting: Repot when roots fill the container or the plant needs more room, using a modestly larger drainage pot. Handle the fine stems gently.
  • Propagation: Root healthy stem cuttings in a well-draining mix, or divide established rooted sections. Keep newly planted sections from staying constantly wet.

Pet and child safety
