Size6" Hanging Pot

Silver Splash pothos brings soft metallic pattern to a hanging display. Its matte green, heart-shaped leaves are brushed with irregular silver markings, and its vines can gradually trail as it grows. Often sold as a pothos, this plant is a Scindapsus; markings, fullness, and vine length vary naturally from plant to plant.

Size and what ships

One live Silver Splash pothos in a 6-inch nursery hanging pot. The exact leaf pattern, fullness, height, and trailing length at shipping vary. With time and suitable care, vines may grow much longer than the plant delivered.

Optional decorative planters

For a tabletop look, explore the black BASEL 6-inch planter, white BASEL 6-inch planter, black Oslo 6-inch planter, or white Oslo 6-inch planter. Decorative planters are sold separately and are not included. The plant ships in its 6-inch hanging nursery pot. Room furnishings are not included.

Care guide

  • Light: Bright indirect light encourages strong growth and silver patterning. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun, which can scorch leaves; growth may slow in lower light.
  • Water: Water thoroughly when the top inch or two of potting mix feels dry, then allow excess to drain. Reduce frequency in cooler or darker seasons and avoid leaving roots waterlogged.
  • Soil: Use an airy, well-draining houseplant or aroid mix in a pot with drainage. Ready to repot? Shop our Rich Houseplant Soil Blend, hand-blended in small batches and sold separately. Add bark or perlite as needed to maintain an airy mix.
  • Temperature and humidity: Keep warm and away from frost or hot dry vents. Average indoor humidity usually works, though moderate humidity can help prevent crispy edges.
  • Feeding: Feed lightly with a balanced slow-release houseplant fertilizer during active spring and summer growth if needed, following the label directions. Ready to feed? Shop our 2 oz Slow-Release Fertilizer for Houseplants & Succulents for steady nutrition for potted houseplants, sold separately. Reduce feeding in winter and skip feeding while growth is paused or during extreme heat or cold.
  • Pruning and support: Trim stems above a node to shape the hanging plant, or give vines a support if you prefer a climbing look.
  • Repotting: Repot when roots crowd the container, using a pot only slightly larger with drainage holes and fresh airy mix. Handle vines gently and keep the original planting depth.
  • Propagation: Root stem cuttings containing a node in water or lightly moist mix; a leaf without a node will not make a new vine.
