  • A young, compact tabletop plant when shipped; exact height and fullness vary.
  • Often grows approximately 8–12 inches tall at maturity, with size influenced by conditions and pruning.

What you receive

One live Peperomia Piccolo Banda in its 4-inch nursery grow pot. Decorative planters and furnishings are not included.

Optional decorative planters

Care guide

  • Light: Provide bright filtered or indirect light. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sun.
  • Water: Let the upper 1–2 inches of mix dry before watering thoroughly, then allow excess water to drain. Avoid keeping roots constantly wet or leaving the pot in standing water. Reduce watering in cooler, darker conditions.
  • Soil: Use a loose, well-draining houseplant mix with perlite. Shop our Rich Houseplant Soil Blend, hand-blended in small batches and sold separately; add perlite as needed for aeration. Use a nursery pot with drainage holes.
  • Temperature and humidity: Aim for 65–80°F, away from cold drafts and drying vents. Typical household humidity is generally suitable.
  • Feeding: Feed lightly during active growth, following fertilizer label directions. Shop our 2 oz Slow-Release Fertilizer for Houseplants & Succulents, sold separately. Reduce or pause feeding during inactivity and extreme heat or cold. Do not feed stressed or newly repotted plants.
  • Pruning: Remove damaged leaves and spent flower spikes with clean scissors. Avoid removing most healthy foliage at once.
  • Repotting: Check for crowded roots every 1–2 years. Repot only when needed, moving up one pot size and keeping the original planting depth.
  • Propagation: Healthy leaf cuttings with a short petiole can be rooted in a lightly moist, airy medium in warm indirect light. Healthy stem cuttings with a node are another option. Avoid taking excessive cuttings from a young plant.

Pet safety
