Hypoestes Splash Polka Dot Plants, Red, White & Pink 3-Pack, 3.5-Inch Pots
Hypoestes Splash Polka Dot Plants bring three complementary foliage colors to a bright plant display: red, white, and pink, each splashed or speckled with green. Keep them together for a colorful trio or place them on separate shelves. Each young plant has its own natural leaf pattern and fullness.
Points of interest and size
- Three live plants total: one red, one white, and one pink Hypoestes Splash, each in a 3.5-inch nursery grow pot.
- Estimated mature indoor size per plant: approximately 6–12 inches tall and wide with suitable care. Pinching keeps growth compact; mature size is not the shipping size.
- Bright filtered light supports colorful foliage. Small flowers may appear on mature plants, but the patterned leaves are the main attraction.
What you receive
Three live Hypoestes Splash plants, one each in red, white, and pink, supplied in separate 3.5-inch nursery grow pots. Leaf tone, pattern, height, and fullness vary naturally. Decorative planters and furnishings shown in styled photos are not included.
Optional decorative planters
Style each plant in a black BASEL 4.7-inch planter or white BASEL 4.7-inch planter. Decorative planters are sold separately and not included with the trio; each plant uses its own planter.
Care guide
- Light: Provide bright indirect or filtered light. Protect from harsh afternoon sun, especially pale leaf areas. Low light may reduce color and cause leggy growth.
- Water: Keep the mix lightly moist, not soggy. Check each pot individually and water as its surface begins to dry, allowing excess to drain. Avoid complete drying of the root ball or leaving pots in standing water. Reduce frequency in cooler, dimmer conditions.
- Soil: Use an airy, moisture-retentive houseplant mix with perlite in pots with drainage holes. Shop our Rich Houseplant Soil Blend, hand-blended in small batches and sold separately; amend with perlite as needed for aeration.
- Temperature and humidity: Keep warm with moderate household humidity. Protect from cold drafts, freezing conditions, and drying heat vents. Maintain good airflow in humid spaces.
- Feeding: Feed lightly during active growth according to fertilizer label directions appropriate to young plants. Shop our 2 oz Slow-Release Fertilizer for Houseplants & Succulents, sold separately. Apply the appropriate amount to each 3.5-inch pot rather than treating the trio as one large container. Reduce or pause during winter or inactivity and extreme heat or cold; avoid feeding stressed or newly repotted plants.
- Pruning: Pinch growing tips or trim leggy stems above a node with clean scissors to encourage branching. Remove damaged leaves and spent flowers.
- Repotting: When roots fill a pot or watering becomes very frequent, move that plant up one pot size into fresh airy mix. Avoid a much larger volume of wet soil and maintain the original planting depth.
- Propagation: Root healthy stem cuttings with at least one node in water or lightly moist mix in warm, bright indirect light. Remove leaves below the rooting point.
