Campfire Crassula Succulent, 4-Inch Pot
Campfire Crassula adds warm color to a bright plant shelf with fleshy leaves that can blush vivid red in strong light. You’ll receive one live rooted succulent in a 4-inch grow pot; decorative terracotta pots in styled photos are props and are not included.
Points of interest: Green leaves can develop fiery red tones with plenty of light. Color, branching, and fullness vary by plant and season; a newly arrived or lower-light plant may look greener.
Size and growth: Ships rooted in a 4-inch grow pot; actual plant height and width vary. With time, branching stems can spread into a larger clump. Mature dimensions depend on light, pruning, and growing conditions rather than a guaranteed size.
Care guide
- Light: Give abundant bright light and some direct sun for compact growth and stronger red color. Acclimate gradually to full sun to prevent leaf scorch.
- Water: Water thoroughly after the soil dries, then let excess drain. In hot bright conditions check more often, but do not keep the mix continuously wet. Reduce watering in cooler, slower-growing periods.
- Soil: Use a gritty, fast-draining succulent mix in a pot with drainage holes.
- Temperature: Protect from frost and prolonged cold, wet conditions; bring a container indoors when conditions turn chilly.
- Feeding: Feed sparingly with diluted succulent fertilizer during active growth if desired.
- Pruning: Remove damaged growth and trim leggy stems with clean tools to encourage a tidier branching shape.
- Repotting: Move up one pot size when roots crowd the container, taking care not to bury the stems too deeply.
- Propagation: Stem cuttings can be allowed to callus before rooting in a fast-draining mix.
Pet and child safety: Campfire Crassula is considered non-toxic to pets. Keep plants and potting mix out of reach of small children and discourage ingestion.
