Spider Plant & White Oslo Planter Bundle pairs the arching green-and-cream striped leaves of Chlorophytum comosum with a clean-lined white Oslo planter and light-colored base. Its fountain-like foliage adds movement and texture to a bright indoor space.

Points of interest

  • Long, striped leaves arch outward and develop a cascading habit.
  • Mature plants may produce small flowers and baby plantlets on long runners; these are not guaranteed at delivery.
  • One white Oslo 6-inch planter is included in this bundle.

What ships and estimated mature size

Includes one live Variegated Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum) in a 6-inch nursery pot and one white Oslo 6-inch decorative planter. Pot size is not plant height. Plant height, spread, leaf length and fullness vary naturally. A mature plant may reach approximately 12–18 inches tall and 18–24 inches wide, with runners extending farther, depending on care and growing conditions.

Included planter and setup

The white Oslo planter has a 6.3-inch opening and no drainage hole. Check the nursery pot's actual width and height against the planter interior before placing it inside. Keep the plant in its draining nursery pot, remove it for watering, let it drain completely, and empty any collected water before returning it to the Oslo planter. Only the white planter is included in this version.

Care guide

  • Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Gentle morning sun may suit an acclimated plant; avoid intense afternoon sun that can scorch foliage. Lower light can slow growth.
  • Water: Water thoroughly when the top 1–2 inches of mix feel dry. Drain completely and never leave roots in standing water. Adjust frequency to season and indoor conditions.
  • Soil and drainage: Use a freely draining houseplant mix in a nursery pot with drainage holes. Our Rich Houseplant Soil Blend is an optional extra, sold separately.
  • Temperature and humidity: Keep in comfortable indoor temperatures with moderate humidity, away from frost, cold drafts and hot vents.
  • Feeding: Feed lightly during active spring and summer growth according to label directions. Our 2 oz Slow-Release Fertilizer is sold separately. Avoid doubling up on fertilizer in an already-fed mix and reduce feeding during slow growth.
  • Pruning and maintenance: Remove dead leaves and trim brown tips with clean scissors, following the natural leaf shape. Gently clean dusty leaves and inspect regularly for pests.
  • Repotting: Move into a slightly larger draining container when roots crowd the nursery pot. Recheck decorative-planter fit after repotting.
  • Propagation: Established plantlets can be rooted separately once sufficiently developed. Plantlets are not guaranteed with your shipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Repeated brown tips can reflect dry conditions, salt buildup or water quality. Review watering and feeding and consider suitable filtered water or rainwater. Yellowing or soft leaves warrant checking for overwatering and trapped water in the outer planter.

Pet safety: Spider plants are generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs, but chewing foliage may cause stomach upset. Keep plants and potting mix out of reach.

The live plant and white Oslo planter are included. Additional soil, fertilizer and styling accessories are optional and sold separately.
