Variegated Zebra Haworthia (Haworthia fasciata variegata)

This compact Haworthia forms a sculptural rosette of pointed green leaves with creamy yellow-white variegation and raised white zebra bands. Brighter light can bring a soft pink blush to the leaf tips. Its small scale makes it easy to tuck into a sunny shelf or succulent display.

Points of interest

  • Zebra bands: White raised markings stripe the pointed leaves.
  • Variegated rosette: Creamy yellow-white and green coloring adds contrast to the compact shape.
  • Small-space succulent: A tidy rosette for a bright windowsill or desk.

Size and what ships

You’ll receive one live Variegated Zebra Haworthia in its 4-inch grower pot. Current size and rosette fullness vary. A mature rosette often reaches roughly 4–6 inches across, though final size and coloring depend on growing conditions.

Care guide

  • Light: Provide bright, indirect light or gentle morning sun. Protect it from harsh midday sun, which can scorch leaves; acclimate gradually when changing light.
  • Water: Let the fast-draining mix dry before watering thoroughly. Drain excess water and avoid leaving the pot standing in water. Water less when growth slows in cool weather.
  • Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix in a pot with drainage.
  • Temperature: Keep warm and protect from frost and prolonged cold.
  • Humidity: Average indoor humidity is suitable; good airflow is helpful.
  • Feeding: During active growth, feed lightly with diluted cactus or succulent fertilizer according to the label. Pause when growth slows.
  • Maintenance: Remove dry outer leaves as needed. Keep water from sitting in the center of the rosette.
  • Repotting: Repot when the rosette or roots outgrow the 4-inch pot, or when the mix breaks down. Choose a container with drainage and refresh the fast-draining mix.
  • Propagation: Separate offsets when they have roots of their own, then pot them in dry succulent mix and water sparingly while they settle in.

Pet and child safety

Keep the plant out of reach of pets and young children, and do not allow chewing. If any part is chewed or ingested, contact a veterinarian or poison-control professional for guidance.

Decorative pot note

The plant ships in its 4-inch grower pot. Terracotta and clay pots shown in styled photos are decorative props, not included or linked as separate products; the styled views show the plant directly planted in the decorative pot.
