Medusa Head Euphorbia (Euphorbia flanaganii), 6-Inch Pot
Medusa Head Euphorbia (Euphorbia flanaganii) sends slender, snake-like green stems radiating from a central crown. Its spreading silhouette brings sculptural texture to a bright shelf or succulent display.
Size & what you’ll receive
Ships as a live succulent growing in a 6-inch nursery pot. Individual plants vary in fullness, stem length, and shape. In suitable conditions an established plant can reach roughly 6–8 inches tall and 12–15 inches across; actual size depends on light, container space, and care. Terracotta pots shown in styled photos are props and are not included.
Care guide
- Light: Provide bright light with gentle direct sun, acclimating gradually to stronger sunlight and protecting from scorching midday exposure.
- Water: Let the mix dry thoroughly between waterings, then water deeply and drain excess. Reduce watering in cooler or lower-light months.
- Soil: Use a gritty, fast-draining cactus and succulent mix in a pot with drainage.
- Humidity & temperature: Provide good airflow and protect from frost and prolonged cold dampness.
- Feeding: Feed lightly during active growth with diluted succulent fertilizer according to the label.
- Pruning: Remove only dried or damaged stems as needed. Wear gloves and avoid contact with the sap.
- Repotting: Repot when crowded into a slightly larger draining container with fresh fast-draining mix.
- Propagation: Stem cuttings can be rooted after cut surfaces have dried and callused; use gloves and take care with the sap.
Pet and child safety: Euphorbia sap can irritate skin and eyes and can be harmful if ingested. Keep away from pets and children; wear gloves when handling and wash after contact.
