Echeveria ‘Perle von Nürnberg’ forms a sculptural rosette of fleshy leaves in soft gray-lavender and pink tones. Its balanced shape makes an attractive focal point on a sunny windowsill or sheltered patio. Color varies with light, season, and growing conditions.

Points of interest

  • Layered, pointed leaves create a classic rose-like succulent shape.
  • Bright light helps maintain compact growth and brings out pastel coloration.
  • Established plants may produce flower stalks and offsets under suitable conditions.

What you’ll receive and mature size

Choose one plant in a 4-inch nursery pot or a 2-pack of plants in 2-inch nursery pots. Plants in smaller pots are younger than the 4-inch option. Size, color, and leaf count vary naturally. Mature rosettes can reach roughly 6–8 inches across, depending on conditions; flower stalks rise above the foliage. Decorative terracotta pots and styling props are not included.

Care guide

  • Light: Provide very bright light with several hours of direct morning sun. Acclimate gradually to stronger outdoor light, protecting from intense afternoon heat if needed. Low light can cause stretched, open growth.
  • Water: Water thoroughly when the potting mix has dried completely, then drain excess water. Avoid leaving water in the rosette or saucer. Reduce watering in cool weather or when growth slows; smaller pots dry faster.
  • Soil: Use a fast-draining succulent mix with added pumice or perlite and a container with drainage holes.
  • Temperature and humidity: Ordinary indoor humidity and good airflow are suitable. Protect from frost, freezing temperatures, and prolonged cold rain.
  • Feeding: Apply diluted succulent fertilizer sparingly during active growth. Avoid heavy feeding or fertilizing a stressed plant.
  • Pruning: Gently remove fully dried lower leaves and spent flower stalks. Avoid unnecessary rubbing of the leaves’ natural powdery coating.
  • Repotting: Repot when roots fill the container, using a pot only slightly larger and fresh succulent mix.
  • Propagation: Propagate from offsets, healthy stem cuttings, or intact leaves. Allow cut surfaces to callus before placing on a gritty mix, and avoid constantly wet conditions.

Pet and child safety
