Echeveria ‘Blue Curls’ grows in a sculptural rosette of blue-green leaves with gently ruffled, curling edges. Its compact shape adds texture to a bright windowsill or a sunny patio. You’ll receive one live plant in a 4-inch grow pot; decorative terracotta pots shown in styled photos are not included.

Size and growth: The plant ships in a 4-inch pot. With good light and time, its rosette may grow wider than the pot; mature size varies with growing conditions. The plant you receive may differ naturally from photos in color and shape.

Care guide

  • Light: Give it several hours of bright light, ideally with some direct sun. Introduce stronger afternoon sun gradually to avoid scorch.
  • Water: Water thoroughly only after the potting mix has dried completely, then let excess water drain. Water less often during cooler, slower-growing months, and avoid leaving water sitting in the rosette.
  • Soil: Use a gritty, fast-draining cactus or succulent mix in a pot with drainage.
  • Temperature and humidity: Average indoor humidity is fine. Protect from frost and prolonged wet conditions.
  • Feeding: If desired, use a diluted succulent fertilizer sparingly during active growth.
  • Pruning: Gently remove dry lower leaves. Rotate the pot occasionally for even growth.
  • Repotting: Repot when roots fill the pot, choosing a container only slightly larger.
  • Propagation: Healthy leaf cuttings or offsets may root in a dry, airy succulent mix; allow cut ends to callus first.

Pet and child safety: Echeveria is generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs, but keep plants out of reach to avoid accidental chewing or upset stomach.
