Anacampseros ‘Sunrise’ Succulent Small Cluster, 4-Inch Pot

Anacampseros ‘Sunrise’ (Anacampseros telephiastrum ‘Variegata’) forms a small cluster of fleshy leaves in a changing blend of green, yellow, and pink. Give it a bright windowsill or a sheltered spot with gentle sun, and enjoy how its colors respond to the light. Its compact size makes it an appealing accent for a small-space succulent collection.

Points of interest

  • Variegated leaves combine shades of green, yellow, cream, and pink.
  • Brighter light generally encourages stronger pink coloration; plants grown in lower light may be greener.
  • Small clustered rosettes gradually spread as the plant produces offsets.
  • Fine, pale hairs around the leaves are a natural feature of Anacampseros.

What ships and estimated mature size

You will receive one live small cluster in a 4-inch plastic nursery pot, planted in our succulent soil blend, with care instructions. Color, leaf size, and cluster fullness vary naturally. Your plant may arrive greener and develop more pink with suitable light and gradual acclimation. Decorative pots, accessories, additional soil, and fertilizer are not included.

Individual rosettes stay compact, often approximately 2–3 inches across, while an established cluster may gradually spread approximately 4–6 inches or more. These are estimated mature dimensions, not the size of the plant shipped.

Optional growing supplies

For future repotting, consider our Succulent & Cactus Soil Blend. Our 2 oz Slow-Release Fertilizer for Houseplants & Succulents is an optional feeding supply; follow its label directions and feed sparingly. Both are sold separately. Decorative terracotta pots in styling photos are props and are not included.

Care guide

  • Light: Provide bright light with gentle morning sun after gradual acclimation. A sunny window or sheltered outdoor position with part sun can work well. Protect from abrupt exposure to intense afternoon sun, especially on pale leaves.
  • Water: Let the potting mix dry between thorough waterings, then drain completely. Check the soil rather than following a fixed calendar. Reduce watering during slower growth and avoid leaving the pot in standing water.
  • Soil and drainage: Use a fast-draining succulent mix and a container with drainage holes. Avoid dense, persistently wet soil and enclosed terrariums.
  • Temperature and humidity: Keep warm and frost-free with good airflow. Ordinary indoor humidity is suitable; misting is unnecessary. Protect outdoor plants from prolonged rain and cold.
  • Feeding: Feed lightly during active growth according to the fertilizer label. Avoid overfeeding or combining multiple fertilizers, and do not fertilize a stressed plant.
  • Pruning: Remove fully dried leaves gently and trim spent flower stalks when dry. Avoid damaging the small rosettes or pulling on the fine natural hairs.
  • Repotting: Repot when the cluster outgrows its container or the mix no longer drains well. Choose a draining pot only slightly wider than the root ball and handle the fleshy leaves carefully.
  • Propagation: Established offsets can be separated carefully when they have suitable roots. Let any cut surfaces dry before placing in a well-draining mix, and avoid saturation while new roots establish.

Pet safety: Treat as mildly toxic if ingested and keep out of reach of pets and children.
