Tradescantia Purple Heart Tradescantia Pallida Purpurea in 4” pots. Purple hearts are easy to grow. Can be kept indoors as a houseplant or outdoors in landscaping in zones 9-10. Plants kept in less light tend to be greener and less purple. Drought tolerant when established but should not be left dry too long in warm weather. Like other tradescantia, purple hearts are fast growing and should be pinched/pruned when they start to get leggy. This will promote dense growth.
