Chamaedorea Elegans Parlor Palm, Neanthe Bella Palm in
4” Pot.  One of the best palms for
beginners.  Low maintenance and adaptable
to a wide variety of conditions.  Keep
indoors in a bright indirect light location.
Will also do fine in lower light.
Prefers temps 65-75F but can tolerate cooler or warmer.  Pot in a well-draining acidic soil(peat moss
will lower the PH).  Water to keep soil
evenly moist but let dry a bit between watering.  Fertilize 1-2 times in spring summer or not
at all, they are slow growing and light feeders.  The lush tropical fronds look amazing and help
purify the air.  Can be kept outdoors in
somewhat tropical conditions zone 10-12.
Parlor palms can live for 20-30 years and can grow 2-6 feet tall.  Safe for pets.
